We’re really sad to share this, but we’ve made the difficult decision to pause the Spud Crusher for 2026.

This event has meant so much to us over the years. What started as a way to support our Women’s Bike Club, now proudly in its 15th year, grew into something truly special. Inspired by the legendary Hot On Your Heels enduro, we set out to create a space where women could try racing in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment… and you showed up in the most incredible way.

From 150 riders lining up each year, to the 80+ volunteers who brought it all to life, to the local hosts, farmers, artists, and businesses who made every apres unforgettable, Spud Crusher became a celebration of community, connection, and everything we love about riding in Pemberton.

We are especially grateful to Maxine Bruce, Roxanne Joe, Lois Joseph and Amaholen for welcoming us each year to Lil’wat Territory. It’s been an honour, and we’re committed to continuing to learn and deepen that relationship. kúkwstum̓ckacw - thank you!

Together, this event has raised meaningful funds for local trails, search and rescue, and community organizations and we couldn’t have done that without all of you.

This year, with so many amazing events across BC and fewer registrations than anticipated, we’ve made the call to take a step back, reflect, and think about how we can best serve this community moving forward.

To everyone who’s been part of Spud Crusher: thank you. Truly. This isn’t goodbye, it’s a see you soon

The "Spud Crusher" Women’s Enduro, named after Pemberton Valley’s renowned seed potato farming, is all about celebrating everything that makes Pemberton special—without taking things too seriously. We kicked off this event in 2018 to support our local Women’s Bike Club and to create a fun, inclusive space where women can learn, push their limits, or just chill and ride. Whether you’re in it to win or just here for a day out with your crew, the Spud Crusher is all about good times on two wheels.

Supporting the Community

Your participation in the Spud Crusher directly benefits three key community organizations: PORCA, and Pemberton Search and Rescue, making a lasting difference in the Pemberton community.
In addition, $20 from each PORCA membership will go to PVTA for trail maintenance.

Empowering Women, Building Connection

We’re dedicated to creating a race environment that’s as empowering as it is inclusive. With our nearly 50/50 membership split, we’re committed to growing and maintaining this balance by encouraging more women to hit the trails.
