Dirt Jumps

Beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert there is a jump size for everyone.

Opened in 2022, the Pemberton Bike Skills Park at Den Dufy Park is the result of a collaborative effort between PORCA, the Village of Pemberton, and the SLRD.

PORCA's vision for a skills park in Pemberton that included an asphalt pump track, dirt jumps and skills area started in 2017 to support riders of all levels. A passionate group of volunteers searched for an appropriate location for 2 years with the help of the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation awarding PORCA with a $25,000 grant to get the project off the ground.

In 2020, the Village of Pemberton (VOP) came on board and in 2021, was successful in securing $974,258 in funding through the Community Economic Resilience stream of the Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program (CERIP) for the construction of the Pemberton Area Mountain Bike Skills Park that opend in July 2022. In the coming year, we are hoping to add a water fountain and tool area in addition to a shade shelter - more info coming soon!

PORCA has committed to the VOP to help fundraise for the skilled maintenance required to keep the dirt jump line in tip top shape. This committment is $5,000/year and includes reshaping in the Spring and fall close down tasks. We have set up a maintenance fund for people and commercial operators to consider donating to. Special thanks to One Up Components and Chromag Bikes for supporting our maintenance fund in 2022!
