FIVER RIDES

Our recurring programs are the heartbeat of our mountain bike community. The gatherings that bring friends together on a regular cadence. The social events that we look forward to as the weeks keep rolling.

Toonie Rides are a tradition and good news - nothing is changing - except for the name and the price. We know! Change can be hard. But like everything else in life these days, inflation is real and alas we must change the “Toonies” to “Fivers” for 2024. But where else can you get a bike ride with food and beverage for $5?

Come out for a community ride on Pemberton's best trails with a hand-picked course and après sponsored by our local businesses! $5 gains you entry to the ride and après party. You only get to play if you're a PORCA member, though, so make sure to purchase your membership before the ride.

Don’t forget - you need to register for each Fiver Ride (this lets us know you are a PORCA member, we can sign you in, we have the necessary information if there was an emergency plus this helps the sponsors to know how many people are coming to be able to prepare the for après.)

Registration will open 10 days before each Fiver and cut-off at 10 am the day of the Fiver. You will not be able to just show up - pre-registration is mandatory.

Stay updated and connected by following us on Instagram for the latest news, ride announcements, and stunning photos from our community. See you on the trails!

The Fiver Rides would not exist without the support of our sponsors. They provide the volunteers that act as the course the route flagger, course marshals, the sweep, apres support crew - all essential to deliver a great Fiver Ride!

The sponsors are not obligated to provide food and beverage but most choose to do so. The après is not a full course meal, but it is usually a beverage and a bite to eat, please only take one serving. We do our best to make sure there is enough for all riders but please be considerate if we are short. Show your appreciation to the sponsors so they feel the love and want to do it all again next year.

If you are a business interested in sponsoring a Fiver, please see our Support tab on our website for more information.
