2023 Call for Nominations for the Board of Directors

PORCA’s vision is a connected community through mountain biking. Our mission is to serve Pemberton’s mountain biking community through advocacy, trail stewardship, partnerships, programs, and events.

We are searching for the following Board Director Positions, please click on the position below to view the full job descriptions and how to apply:

Other positions up for election, with the current directors seeking re-election, are as follows: Treasurer, Secretary, Director of Events & Programs, Director of Special Projects. Time commitment is 6-8 Board meetings annually plus Committee or Task Force meetings when needed. The PORCA Board is a working board that supports our small staff of mainly seasonal employees.

In order to apply to become a Director, you must satisfy the following eligibility requirements: 

  • Be a current PORCA member in good standing

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Capable of managing your own affairs

  • Are not undergoing bankruptcy

  • Have not been convicted of fraud or a corporate offence within the last five years
